Gaza Aid:

- On March 2, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Gaza time, a joint airdrop operation was carried out by the United States Central Command in collaboration with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, aiming to deliver humanitarian aid to the civilians in Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict. This crucial mission utilized C-130 aircraft from both the U.S. Air Force and the RJAF, manned by specialized Army Soldiers proficient in the aerial delivery of supplies, to ensure the accurate and safe distribution of food aid directly to affected areas.
- The operation successfully deployed over 38,000 meals to Gaza's coastline, making them accessible to civilians in dire need of assistance. This endeavor is a part of the Department of Defense's broader humanitarian efforts, aligning with the U.S. government's commitment to providing essential humanitarian support to Gaza's population. Plans are underway for subsequent airborne aid delivery missions, reflecting a continuous commitment to enhancing humanitarian assistance through both aerial drops and the expansion of aid flow via land corridors and routes into Gaza.
SpaceX Launch:

- SpaceX, in partnership with NASA, has successfully executed the launch of the Crew-8 mission aboard the Falcon 9 rocket, propelling the Dragon spacecraft towards the International Space Station (ISS). This event took off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, marking the spacecraft's eighth operational human spaceflight.
- The Dragon spacecraft, veteran of missions such as Demo-2, Crew-2, Ax-1, and Crew-6, demonstrated its reliability once more as it embarked on another journey to the ISS. Following the successful separation from Falcon 9’s first stage, the rocket's first stage made a precision landing back on Earth at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) within the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
- During their mission aboard the ISS, the Crew-8 team is set to undertake a series of over 200 scientific experiments and technology demonstrations. These activities are aimed at advancing research critical for future human exploration missions beyond Earth's lower orbit, with the overarching goal of generating benefits for humanity both in space and on our home planet.
