- Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Deloitte are collaborating to launch a new blockchain network called the Canton Network. This project aims to improve blockchain technology in the finance market to connect different institutional applications.

Trump Trial:
- President Donald Trump was held accountable by a jury for sexually assaulting and defaming E. Jean Carroll. This was made possible by a New York law enacted last November that permits victims of sexual assault to file civil suits against their alleged attackers, regardless of when the incident happened.
- Carroll's lawsuit alleged that Trump assaulted her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s.
- The jury, in this case, found Trump liable for sexual assault and defamation but not for rape. As a result, Trump was ordered to pay $5M to Carroll. Despite the verdict, Trump has issued a statement denying the allegations.
